Business Development Manager US based web design and social media consulting company is looking for a few highly motivated individuals to join our team part-time as a business development manager.
Job Summary: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for actively prospecting new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. As BDM, you will be offering website design and social media products and services to small to medium sized businesses.
Responsibilities and Duties: *New Client Acquisition: Identify prospects, customers, and referral sources and develop/maintain relationships to ensure attainment of company business goals. *Client Retention & Renewals: Manage marketing data using applicable sales management systems or tools (e.g., database, computerized call calendar and time management systems) to maximize effïciency and analyze data/marketing activity on a weekly basis. *Customer Service/Account Management: Investigates and resolves customer issues: Initiate collections calls as necessary. *General Duties: Assist in the development of annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the CEO, and sales team, and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable: Understand and comply with the sales system/program in place.
Minimum Requirements are: *Prior experience with social media and internet marketing is a plus* * 2+ year sales experience with documented track record preferable * High school diploma (or equivalent): Bachelor's degree preferable * Access to reliable transportation (some onsite appointments are necessary) * Access to home office (computer w/basic MS Office, unlimited local/long distance telephone service, reliable internet service, ability to use social media and email) * Strong written and verbal communication skills and good math skills * Self starter with the drive and ability to exceed goals
Salary: This a 100% Commission position for the first 9 months then option to move to salary plus commission based on sales performance. Commissions are 30% of initial sale in addition to monthly residuals for recurring revenue.
