Provident is seeking Apprentices:
Specific Duties:
Rough-in, Trim-out, Retrofitting, and Troubleshooting of the following:
o Electrical wiring, devices, equipment, and associated devices and equipment
Perform electrical service work
Communicate with Supervisor and customer in regards to scope of work and job performance
Complete required paperwork for each job, day, and as assigned by their Supervisor
Physical Demands:
The employee in this position must be able to:
Bend, Squat, Crawl, Reach above shoulders, Kneel, Stoop, Dig, Hammer Nails/Staples, and Walk on uneven ground frequently
Repeated Push/Pull, Simple Grasp, Fine Manipulation, and Hammer Nails/Staples
Climb stairs, steps, and ladders
Frequently work in confined and/or small spaces
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift and carry 25 to 100 pounds
Use power tools
Other Requirements:
Under 25: No more than 1 moving traffic violation in previous 3 years
25 and older: No more than 2 moving traffic violations in previous 3 years
Clean background check
Reliable and insured personal vehicle
Ideal candidates should:
Be comfortable with written and verbal communication
Be able to work hours ranging from 40 - 60 per week
Be willing to drive to multiple jobsites throughout the week in the great King, Pierce, and Snohomish county areas
Starting wage is $9.19 per hour, with accredited hours increasing compensation along a fixed pay schedule, and with benefits after a 30 day waiting period, after qualification.
