Commercial Real Estate Firm is seeking a Manager of Software Applications to join the IT Corporate team. Needed is An individual that is technology-oriented and possesses the ability to manage a team within the IT department. The computing environment this position will oversee includes IT Application Strategy, Application Integration, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Enterprise Content Management.
General Duties & Responsibilities: Evaluate and integrate applications for wireless devices to gain corporate and operational efficiencies, update and maintenance of Office Productivity Suite, web servers, Applications Life Cycle Projection, security applications and other property related operational software, business continuity and disaster recovery at the application level, SOX/Section 404, reports to the SVP MIS and other duties as assigned
Requirements: Degree in Business with emphasis on Computer Technology/Information Systems OR in business/economics with a strong interest in IT: or equivalent combination of education and experience with emphasis in SQL databases and 3-5 years managerial/supervisory experience. Must have experience in managing a application team (ERP, SharePoint, BI), developing IT application roadmap and project prioritization, developing an IT application budget and proven experience in overseeing the direction, development and implementations of ERP software solutions: Yardi Voyager or MRI property management platform experience a PLUS. Maintain and design: SQL Server database, security architecture and all software platforms running on SQL, technically fluent in relational database administrations, including MSSQL and mid to large scale relational databases, continually improve and automate query performance for SQL based applications and reports and assist with application maintenance, report writing and software updates. Knowledge of enterprise-level applications, including CRM, data warehouses etc… are a PLUS and experience in the design and rollout of software applications and the identification of new system requirements, preferred. Individual must have excellent communication skills, customer service, problem solving and analytical skills, ability to adapt and understand reporting deadlines, also skilled at delivering training on IT systems, processes and tools to technical and non-technical audit. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services preferred. Must have a valid CA driver’s license and an insured personal vehicle, be able to travel and hands on, practical experience.
