I live in Cleveland, OH and started a new job with IGS Energy helping people save money on their energy bills. Guess what? They now deliver electric too. Many are confused about what IGS Energy is all about. Basically it is the same concept as federal deregulation of MaBell (remember her?). I mean the phone lines physically were still delivering the signal, however new competitive long distance and even local phone services popped up once the monopoly was broken up with federal deregulation.Well now state regulated utility companies such as East Ohio Dominion for natural gas and First Energy aka Illuminating Company and Ohio Edison for electric are in the federal deregulation game. They still read your meter, manage your account, and control all the pipes, equipment, etc that is used to bring the utility to your house, office, or building. IGS Energy is a company that is competing with the actual rate per unit you pay for your gas or electric. Only an IGS Energy representative can go over your bill carefully to find out if you qualify for the program. Most people do whether you are on PIPP or not, doesn't matter, so it is in your best financial interest to let that IGS Energy agent who knocked at your door out in the freezing cold help you save some money. After all we all need that don't we?I'm a little shy about knocking on doors but I wanted this job in order to break that shyness. You see when I get nervous my mind just kinda goes in to protective blank mode and I sorta loose my thoughts. When this happens I get more nervous hoping to not look stupid when I need to look professional such as in this job. I need to practice in order to feel more confident. I fully understand the deregulation and all that information. My problem is loosing my thoughts if someone is rude to me at the door. I also need a new coat so that I look more professional out there in the freezing cold. Wish I could work in an apartment building, but usually knocking on doors in those buildings are not allowed by management. Too bad because many in apartment buildings could save some money on their electric bills, since electric is the most widely used separate utility in apartments. If you live in an apartment and want to see if you qualify to save some money please contact me. I will be very happy to come by and see if I could help you out. Let your neighbors know and we can have a 'utility money saving party' :)Seriously if you are in the Cleveland, OH or surrounding areas, please contact me so I can come by to see if I can save you some money on your gas or electric bills.
