Marked "925" import out of Taxco, Mexico.
This is an amazing piece of jewelry with an indeniable powerful look.
This bracelet was handmade in the "old Taxco" tradition with excellent workmanship and beautifully finished. The
work on this magnificent piece is just wonderful. it has a nice
combination of shapes, forms and elements that make it a unique piece
of jewelry. It has all the old Taxco elements and charateristics from
that era, like the Mayan motif on the centerpiece, a beautiful Mayan
head with a carved genuine jade stone, carrying a nicely decorated
headdress, that make a very notorious contrast with the silver strips
on the cuff.
This bracelet is solid sterling silver with a substantial weight of 96.2 grams (3.0 ounces).
The bracelet is not brand new, it was made around the early 1980's and
it carries the artist's initials "LPV" "TP-34". It is also in
absolutely mint
conditon.
I hope that my photos reflect the true beauty of this bracelet, because believe me... this piece is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! The
silver bracelet is seven eighths of an inch wide in the cuff. The
centerpiece is two and a quarter inches long and it has an inside
circumference of six and three quarter inches.
