People
have always had the urge
to kick stuff and this urge gave birth to the game we know today as
soccer. In
ancient times, in China,
soldiers would fill up their time by playing a game that had them
shooting a
sewn ball through a goal-like structure. This is the first evidence in
the
history of the soccer ball.
In
another part of the world, in
Central America, Aztecs would play a game resembling both soccer and
basketball, using a rubber ball that was extremely bouncy and hard to
control.
We can go all the way forward to medieval Europe, where mobs of people
would
play soccer using a ball made out of filled pig bladder and finally, to
modern
times, where high tech balls are designed using computers to be
perfectly fit
for the game.
