A Hound/Pointer mix who loves to play needs a new family. Due to several changes in our life, including a baby, we simply cannot find the time to give our dog the attention he deserves. We did not come to this decision easily and want to ensure he gets a great new home.
He is 16 months old (born on June 9, 2006), and still has lots of energy. He loves to play fetch and go for long walks. When inside he likes to chew on his bones and play with his toys. He knows simple commands such as his name, sit, and lay down.
We are not looking for money, just someone who loves dogs and will be able to give him the time and attention that he needs. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots, and in great health. We will also give you his crate and several toys.
We are in Nassau County, NY but willing to travel to ensure he has a good home. You are also welcome to come by and see him. You should have an enclosed yard as he loves to be outside.
