First impressions |
RegCure's got a clean, easy-to-understand interface with nice big buttons for things like 'Scan' and 'Backup'. I'm not going to dive into the help files and instead I'm going to play around here. It all looks very straight forward and fun to use. |

What I liked |
Wow - blistering speed
RegCure promised to run quickly and it really does. It burns through all the categories in it's routine super fast. A lot of the registry repair tools seem to drag, and you have to wait a long time. RegCure is fast.
Super easy to work with
Like the guy in your office who everyone wants on their team, RegCure is very easy to get along with. It's very simple to work out what each button does and there's even a description of each feature when you move the mouse pointer over it.
Really good price
This software is definitely a little bargain. And it's not as if it's a cut down version either. In my tests it found a lot more errors than some of the heavy weight tools.
Scheduler built in
Here's something forgetful peeps like me will love. If you look under the Settings section there's a scheduler that will run RegCure at any date and time you like. Once set up, you'll never have to manually do another scan again. This is a huge plus point with this tool.
Built in startup manager
This was a real surprise. As this software is about $5 less than most of it's competitors, I was expecting that it would be missing at least some of the features it's more expensive rivals carried. Not so. There's a great startup manager built in here.
Safe, automatic backups
Something you won't have to worry about is deleting something you shouldn't. When it scans, RegCure creates automatic backups. I tested this and was able to restore everything prior to the scan and fix process in a couple of easy clicks. Great.
Keeps track of it's overall errors cleaned
More as a point of interest than an essential tool, RegCure keeps track of how much it's cleaned and repaired over the months / years since you started using it. As well as when the last scan performed was. It's all under the 'Results' tab. |

What I didn't like |
Not as many advanced settings as some tools
I can't say that this is a big concern of mine but if you're one of those people who loves your software to have oodles of options, then this might be a disappointment. For the rest of us, you can ignore this gripe! |

The verdict |
Very impressive. At under $20 this tool should offer a lot less than the more well-known tools. On the contrary it removes more errors than some of it's more expensive competitors. There's nothing here that will confuse new users and it's a tool that you'll use again and again. I loved it. Highly recommended.
