Do you Not want to have to fight you don't have to. Surprise submission holds are extremely quick and effective. I don't care how big they are they have to give up or possibly be maimed for life.
I know these work I'm not a little guy but a person about 5' 2" and probably a 100 lbs. less than me held me in check, the more I tried to use my muscles and fight the more it hurt, realistically (OR AT LEAST I THOUGHT SO)If I could of got ahold of him I could of picked him up and slammed him but he was quicker and better trained and made me feel pretty helpless, locking me up that quickly not a good feeling for somebody that thought they were tough.
