One of the easiest methods for finding seized cars or other property is by locating a free government auction or a government vehicle auction somewhere in the United States. Years ago, I lived in Massachusetts and I had taken a couple real estate courses on purchasing property at Government Auctions.
The first government auto auction I went to was akin to being a three ring circus. There were all sorts of strange people there (this was in Boston, not that Boston was a bad place or anything but you know how big cities are.) and the cops were trying to calm everyone down. Anyway, the policeman in charge started the auction and alot of the items that were sold went for a real fair price. Sometimes the cars, boats and other items that were being auctioned were in good shape and other times they were not.
Many of the auctioned items were in pretty good shape and went for a very reasonable price other items were in lousy condition and in bad shape..Go figure.
