Made in 1919 - restored to perfection
This Flute
This is an exceptional flute. It is a solid silver heavy wall flute, closed hole, offset G, made for the US Quater Masters Band. It has been fully restored to new, with all new pads, corks, springs.
It plays perfectly on the A = 440 hz scale, in tune. With new headjoint, it plays perectly on the modern A=442hz scale.
Other than pads / corks / springs, this flute is all original. It plays as if it were just made, with a lush full rich projecting tone.
It comes in a Ws Haynes French case, with cleaning rod.
Don't be fooled by lower priced Haynes on the market and on EBAY. Restoration by a professional can take 12 months or more, and cost well over $1500. This flute is a STEAL at this price. No hassle, no worry, no wait, no guestimating repair costs.
