Rocket French - Not Necessarily the Best Price, But Quite Possibly the Best Deal
I personally find French to be one of the most difficult of languages to pick up, and still struggle with it to this very day.
There are a couple of online French language computer courses that seem to have gotten some good feedback, and one of them is Rocket French.
To be perfectly honest, I've only gone as far as signing up for their free, 6-part French course, and have not really decided whether to go all the way and purchase the package.
On the other hand, if you have already made up your mind to buy Rocket French, I have a legitimate deal that can help you save some money, absolutely no strings attached on your part.
I happen to be an affiliate for Rocket French, and I get a commission with every time a visitor I refer to the website makes a purchase of the product.
From the amount of commission I receive, I will then personally make a purchase of an Amazon.com gift certificate worth $25 (details here), and have that sent to your email.
A win-win situation for the both of us.

The Rocket French Approach To Teaching the French Language
It's a good idea to sign up for their 6-part free course. In the first email for instance, there was a link to their sample newsletter. Going through the newsletter, I was actually quite impressed with the way they laid out the text, and also with the easy-on-the-eyes graphics. I also liked that sample audio files were provided at the right points of the page.
The breezy text and conversational manner in which the lesson was delivered certainly provided the best 10-minute French language learning experience I've ever gone through.
You'll also get to form an opinion on whether the course is suitable for you or not, something you can't do with many of the established language centers or more expensive courses. In my opinion, having access to a preview of the training material is the best way to form a judgment on the suitability of the product, and is superior to reading the many less-than-partial Rocket French reviews out there on the internet.
I wasn't able to find many reliable feedback from users of the course, but here's one: Fulcrum posted this message over at the CompleteFrance.com forum, saying:
"I have now used Rocket French for a few days and find it quite good. I wasn't an absolute beginner but have found that the course has lots of examples on pronounciation and the proper use of irregular verbs.
I also decided to purchase their interactive French course which apart from the really annoying voice of the male speaker (a mix of mid atlantic, South African and New Zealand ) has been ideal for porting onto my MP3 player."
The key points in Fulcrum's message are that the Rocket French course is packed with extensive examples, and because the course is downloadable in the form of multimedia files, it's easy to burn the audio files onto a CD and listen to them while driving in your car, or just transfer those same files to your portable music player and listen to them while you're commuting. When learning a new language, no convenience is too petty.
Conclusion
I wish you all the best in your journey to mastering the Language of Love. Once again, to take advantage of my no strings attached, $20 Amazon.com gift certificate bonus, head over to my site to buy your own copy of Rocket French.
