Digital is the technology the drive components make use of to communicate with each other, and the treadmill console making it the best, fastest, most accurate way to control a treadmill (just like analog phones versus digital phones).
The motor powers the belt. The treadmill motor comprise of two parts, magnets, and an axle. The magnets build a field in which the axle revolves, generating horsepower with each revolution. For increased power, either turn the axle faster for higher revolutions per minute, or RPM, which causes more noise, vibration and motor wear, or use bigger magnets to create more power at a low RPM.
Others create more RPM, we increased the size of the magnets, maintaining a low RPM. This makes our motors quieter, longer, and build more power than other treadmills. Horizon motors are continuous duty, the kind found in health club units. It’s smooth and powerful at any spedd for any user.
Advantages of the COMFORTzone belt is employing a multi-ply belt for cushioning and durability. We also designed the belt length and width to accommodate all users and fitness levels, while still making it a simple task to enter and exit the unit.
With tapered rollers, making them wider in the center to align the belt better, even with multiple walking and running patterns. This is the COMFORTzone roller advantage.
WIth the advantage of COMFORTzone, we use elastomers to make three distinct zones, first is the Impact zone, with thicker, softer cushioning lessen stress off your legs and joints. Second is the Transition zone, with moderate cushioning for comfort as you move through each stride, and last is the Push-off zone, with thinner, denser cushioning for a more solid surface to launch into your next stride.
