Due to the Malicious Viruses Online I have had to get my Toshiba Laptop Data Back Up... Viruses Removed & my System Restored several times. I remember the owner... Walt... of the E & S Computers Store was on vacation 2 years ago. The E & S Computers was closed for the 1st time. I panic... time is money especially when you are researching or trying to make money Online. I didn't know who to call... or who I could trust to look at my machine or where else besides the E & S Compuers Store I could take my Toshiba Laptop in my community area of Philadelphia to get it service.
I will never forget... I spent a day "letting my fingers do the walking" as I prospect for a potential computer store repair service. Then I was shocked by the high computer store service fees phone quotes. Finally... at the end of my search about 5 hours latter I was desperate... I called a computer service from Germantown, Pa. who charged me $25.00 to come to my home and pick up my Toshiba Laptop and $60.00 to look at it - trouble shoot... then wanted to charge me $250 to fix it and another $20.00 ($5.00 del. discount)to re-delivery my Toshiba Laptop back to me.
When I bulked at the outrages $355.00 bill price plus tax I was told the lowest it cold be fixed was $190.00 plus the delivery charges and tax. It was mention... it might be in my best interest not to fix my Toshiba Laptop but just buy a new laptop. Of Course... this Germantown computer store had new laptops starting at $700.00 & used laptops starting at $350.00 for sale... Ummm... it was going to cost $355.00 if I let this Germanown store fix it. Why would I buy a used one for $350.00 or a new one when my Toshiba Laptop was only one year old at the time and could be repaired?
I ended up having the owner / service manager waived the $20.00 (discounted) delivery charges for my Toshiba Laptop to be returned to me. I spent $85.00 out of pocket cost and no work had been done on my Toshiba Laptop. Needless... to say after this experience I waited for... Walt... the owner of E & S Computers Store to come back from vacation to get my Toshiba Laptop repaired. The price I paid to have it repaired at the E & S Computers Store was no where near $250.00 the Germantown store owner / mgr. quoted to fix it.
