Kaled 10 is standing at stud in Murtaugh, Idaho. Kaled was imported from Russia in 1995. He is the only Budyonny stud currently in the United States. The last Budyonny stud, Deych, (now deceased) was standing in California over five years ago, and at that time his rate was $3,500. Kaled has the bloodlines of the famous Russian Thoroughbred Rubilnik, through his dam, descended from one of the most prominent Budyonny's by the name of Derzky.
Kaled doesn't have very many progeny as yet, but the ones he has are exceptional - they invariably look like him, and have his calm attitude.
