If in the future, the flutist wishes to upgrade to a different head joint for different tonal effects, we have many sterling head joints (from $150) that will fit the flute.
This is the low cost popular method of upgrading flutes without buying a new flute.

This Yamaha 385H (now 381):
We have several flutes, ranging in price from $600 to $700.
This flute ($700) has been cleaned oiled and adjusted by our techncian. It has minor wear in the case (Yamaha black hardshell case with handles).
The pads and corks are like new. The flute is perfectly adjusted.
This flute is on the A=440hz deeper darker richer scale and has a very unqiue lovely tone. Very few are available.
