2 hours from Asheville, Atlanta or Chattanooga. 1 mile in on the right on Carter Cove Road, next to Grace Baptist Church, across from Jenny's Alpaca Farm. Minutes away from miles of trail riding at its best at Fires Creek, Tusquitee Mt. or Standing Indian Basin. 5 minutes from town and tourist areas, great horse vacation area with many local activities & attractions.

Trails :
Nantahala National Forest- Fires Creek Area -- Hundreds of miles of trails, Rim trail 25+ miles, Year round trail riding at its best. This large remote basin is outlined by a horseshoe-shaped rim of densely forested mountains rising to over 5,000 feet. Fires Creek drains the basin and the 5240 foot Tusquitee Bald crowns its rugged steep terrain. Most trails connect to the Rim Trail, which follows the ridgeline around the basin. Waterfalls, wildlife and trout fishing. Bristol Fields primitive horse camp. Access from US 64

Nantahala National Forest- Standing Indian Area -- 4 marked trails, 20+ miles, Year round trail riding at its best. Standing Indian Basin is a horseshoe shaped drainage formed by the Nantahala and Blue Ridge Mountains. Bisecting the drainage is the Nantahala river, born amid the basin's high peaks. Trails combine with roads to offer a variety of riding opportunities. Horse trails are marked with orange blazes. Waterfalls, wildlife, trout fishing and primitive horse camp. Access from US 64
