Learn & Master Guitar Review:
I ordered the Learn & Master Guitar Course and it arrived in less then a week. I was
pretty impressed with this product before I even played
the first DVD. This product is very professionally packaged
and you can tell a lot of time and money was spent developing
the Learn & Master Guitar DVD Course.
Legacy Learning Systems went all out when they developed this course. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and I have never seen a product quite like Learn & Master Guitar.
It is the most complete video
instruction course for guitar I have seen available
anywhere at the time of this review.
The course consists of ten DVDs, five
Jam-Along CDs, a 100+ page lesson book, and a lot of web-based
supplemental material. This course also covers a very wide range of playing styles. You can learn, acoustic, rock, classical and fingerstyle, blues, jazz, country, R&B, and funk.
I loved the DVD'S, it's very cool to be able to learn at your own pace and the assignments were really easy to follow. Steve Krenz is the instructor of the course and I really like his style of teaching. The course is broken into 20 sessions:

Playing along with the Jam-Along CDs is a blast and it's one of many things I really like about this guitar lesson course. There are "active" tracks that enable you to play the tracks with the lead guitar track turned on, off, or at partial volume.
The tracks for beginner songs also enable playing each song at slow, medium or fast pace. I should mention that the band used for the Jam Tracks is fantastic. Legacy Learning Systems spared no expense here on hiring professional musicians for these backing tracks.
Learn
& Master Guitar should be the only instructional package
you'll need for learning the guitar. In my opinion Learn
& Master Guitar is the Cadillac of all guitar training products. If you really want to learn to play the guitar there just isn't a better guitar course available.
Negatives: The only down side I found about Learn
& Master Guitar is that it is pretty expensive when compared to other guitar training products. It's also not an instant download. It's a physical product that is shipped so the lure of instant access that a lot of other products offer doesn't apply to this course as it is shipped. Having said that it took less then a week for us to receive our copy.
