Galactic Mushroom Lamp (48"HX24”WX20"D): A fantasy mushroom of welded metal. The low level(40 watts)lamp (light emits from the top of mushroom)lights the body. The mobile mushroom chimes, operated by rotating arms mounted on an internal electric motor shaft in the center of the mushroom's main body, yield act as musical chimes.
This is an original piece of sculpture made by Robert Maker (1944-1993). Other examples of his work are available at the link listed below.
