Our Elk Grove, IL company is need of a Process Engineer who is familiar with reading and interpreting SPECS. Candidate must be familiar with tolerancing and its application in production. Must have some background in purchasing and pricing out raw materials, assembly components, hardware, tooling. Candidate must be fully knowledgeable in inventory control throughout processes. Responsibilities will include outside process quoting such as heat treating, welding, plating, destructive/non-destructive testing, etc. Ideal candidate will have 10+ years in CNC machining background as well as knowledgeable in secondary operations such as welding, grinding. Candidate should also be knowledgeable in CAD/AUTOCAD/GIBBS. Must be computer proficient especially able to efficiently navigate in Excel.
