| | | We rescued a dog from an apartment where the owner had left him unattended for over 3 weeks without food or water. He is a Schipperke and will be a year old in December.
He's a good, sweet dog who wants to be loved. He is good with other dogs and cats. He loves to be outside and have the freedom to run, a backyard would be best for when he is at play.
I know how the owner treated him and he has your typical issues associated with abuse. He might pee when he gets excited when he first meets you. He has been known to chew but as long as he has a chew toy he won't. Since he has been in our home he rarely does either of those things now. He has begun to realize that he will have food and water when he wants and that someone will be there for him.
He's adorable, funny and just longs to be loved. I wish we could keep him but we cannot afford another mouth to feed. Please, pass this ad along if you know someone who would want a good pet.
I guess he weighs less than 15 lbs. and is black with a white patch on his chest. He looks like a miniature lab...lol
