Square Rustic Wooden Walking Sticks or Hiking Stick.

I make each one of these to order.
(Turn around time depending on what blanks I have is about 3 to 7 days.)

These sticks are: 47 inches long and about 1 inch thick.
These sticks are made from a Domestic Hard Wood.

Color: Pink, Blue, Early American, Traditional Irish Blacked Finish, or 40 others colors.
Finish: Polyurethane (Gloss), Shelac (Gloss Warm Finish), Boiled Linseed Oil, or Varnish.
Handle Grip: Hand Carved Wooden Grip or Jute Twine Wrapped Grip.
Shaft: Square or Hand Carved.

Please note: The Traditional Irish Blackened Finish is done the same way they did it in Anicent Ireland. Do to this process this finish takes a few extra days to complete.
This process using fire does harden the stick making it stronger and a little lighter.

Each Hiking & Walking Stick that I produce is handcrafted using methods refined for over 25 years. In a process that takes over two years to complete, the wood is seasoned and crafted into a beautiful piece that will last you a lifetime. No two are alike. Each one is a work of art in itself. I have several people who have purchased sticks too keep as art or display items. Each item is sanded and carved by hand. All stains and finish top coats are all hand rubbed.

I first started hiking over 25 years ago when I first joined the Cub Scouts and I have been enjoying hiking ever since. I made my first Hiking Stick right after I became a Boy Scout. I have been making them ever since. I still have my first Hiking Stick I made from the summer when I moved up from the Weblos to the Boy Scouts and I still use that Hiking Stick to this day.
