Is it a Barometric Pressure Headache? And, What To Do About It
by Alexander Kening on Jul 15, 2012
In this article you are going to discover a simple but effective method to find out if weather changes – and especially barometric pressure changes trigger your migraines, and what to do about it.

Weather and, more specifically, weather changes are often thought to be headache or migraine “triggers”.
Even though most studies show little scientific evidence to back up this assertion, many people still attribute their pain to uncontrollable, outside sources like weather changes.
In fact, in a recent study performed on migraine sufferers over a period of two months to two years, 51% of the people studied were actually sensitive to weather changes out of 62% who thought they were.
In other words, 1 in 10 people wrongly believed that weather can trigger their migraines.
So what does this mean?
If means that 10% of these people probably didn’t do much to get rid of their migraines. They probably didn’t even try to prevent their suffering instead of taking a side-effect full painkiller when the pain hit, because they thought that it was outside of their control.
And if this statistic would be apply to all of the 32 million Americans suffering from migraines, that means that more than 3 million migraine sufferers should start looking for a solution.
Could you be one of them?
I don’t know. But I know how you can find out.
And when you find out, you will not only have the peace of mind and the relief of certainty, but you will be able to choose the right action steps and finally get rid of your migraines – weather they are influenced by weather on not.

Types of Weather Changes
There are 3 weather characteristics that can influence your body:
Pressure (Barometric Pressure)
However, thanks to our modern lifestyles we can change most of them as we please if we really wanted to.
If the temperature outside is too high or too low, it doesn’t mean it has to be the same on the inside of your home.
If the air is dry you can buy a humidifier, or you can use a moist cloth and let the water evaporate. And, on the other hand, if the air is to humid, you might need to open a window or buy a dehumidifier.

3 So Called “Healthy” Foods that You Should STOP Eating If You Want A Healthy Migraine-Free Body
by Alexander Kening on Jun 29, 2012
I was reading a shocking statistic in a nutrition article recently, and I must share this with you…

But before I go on to the statistic, let me tell you a quick fact about migraine nutrition:
99% of the migraine trigger lists don’t work. They are simply not complete enough. The do not tell you about the worst offenders… the so called “healthy” foods you eat every day in various forms, without even worrying about them.
Now for the shocking statistic…
Currently, the average adult in countries such as the US, Canada, Australia eating a typical modern western diet consumes approximately 67% of their total caloric intake from only 3 foods: CORN, SOY, AND WHEAT – and their derivatives.
That is even more shocking when you know that according to well renowned nutrition author Michael Pollan, and his amazing book called “In Defense of Food”, humankind has historically consumed approximately 80,000 different species of edible plants, animals, and fungi, and approximately 3,000 of those have been widespread foods of the human diet.
So what would be considered a reasonably healthy amount of corn, soy, and wheat in the human diet?

How I Stopped My Migraines – The Magnesium For Migraines Story
by Alexander Kening on Jun 29, 2012
Today I am going to share part of my personal migraine story with you, in hopes of helping you along the path of finding a real migraine cure.
It all started 8 or 9 years ago. Out of nowhere I got a strange headache on the left side of my head. I was in class at that time so I was supposed to stay still and pay attention to the course, but I practically couldn’t keep my left eye open. The pain was quite sharp and I was very sensitive to the light. Even the smell started to annoy me and irritate my left nostril.
Lucky for me, these symptoms only lasted only about 20 minutes to a half an hour. But, unlucky for me, they came again in about one or two weeks, and started to get more and more frequent.
When I was little, my test results showed a magnesium deficit so the family doctor prescribed some supplements. And, after a few years, when the mysterious migraines started to show up out of nowhere, I got another recommendation to take magnesium supplements.

Unfortunately, back then I didn’t know absolutely anything about migraines or magnesium. I thought migraine was just a fancy term for a headache, and magnesium just another worthless supplement.
Because the pain was so sharp and annoying I thought I needed a powerful, state-of-the-art drug to get rid of it. I couldn’t imagine that a little magnesium pill could help me at all.
To tell you the truth, I don’t really remember how many magnesium pills I took or in which doses, and I don’t even remember if it helped me or not. But the one thing I can tell you for sure is that it took me about 7 years of on and off suffering and frustration, and hundreds over hundreds of articles in research, to realize the power of magnesium for migraines.
Now, I am completely migraine free for almost 2 years – and a big piece of this huge accomplishment is magnesium.
