Believe me, I know the desperation of not being able to sleep. When you try and explain to people why you’re so tired they just don’t get it. To them a bad night’s sleep means you might have woken up a few times during the night, or perhaps taken an hour to get off to sleep. I spent 15 years of my life hindered by lack of sleep. I was pushed from doctor to doctor, counsellor to psychologist and eventually to the top insomnia specialist in Europe. Sleep to me was always a real-life nightmare. I never looked forward to my bedtime because 9 times out of 10 I would get a restless night and wake up feeling lethargic and gloomy. I just didn’t understand why I couldn’t fall asleep instantly like others could, and when I did fall asleep why I couldn’t stay asleep for 7 or 8 hours like “normal people”.

I became my own doctor. I put myself through trial and error until I completely understood every aspect of my environment, personality, and lifestyle that might possibly be affecting my sleep. I studied sleep through the ages, looking at the sleeping patterns of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, and how insomnia began to heavily manifest itself in modern society post the invention of electricity and even ore so post the agricultural revolution.
During this process of research I also discovered brain entrainment technology (binaural beats) and hypnosis, and began studying brain activity and frequency response, discovering that it was possible to cure the anxiety and fear built up around insomnia thru a process called “frequency response”.
Over 18 months I developed the Six Steps To Sleep Now, a program designed to reintroduce habitual quality sleep to the body through practical good sleep hygiene techniques, a sleep friendly diet, and brain entrainment using binaural beats technology.
