|Hunt View Farm is located on 1000 acres of privately owned fields and woods next to the C&O Canal towpath and McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area with direct access to miles of fabulous trails. We are an easy 15 mile drive from downtown Potomac and are in the middle of hunt-country.|
Our farm is located in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve and owned by a member of EPIC. Hunt View Farm was established in 2003 and is operated by Dr. Carlos Torres, a veterinary professional with extensive experience in horse management.
Field boarded horses enjoy grazing on over 30 acres of pasture and have free access to automated, frost-free waterers and a large run-in sheds for cover. They are grain fed daily as part of their routine care and have access to salt and free choice minerals. Turn-out of stall boarded horses is maximized, depending on weather, on close to 20 acres of pasture with natural shelter. They also have free access to an automated, frost free waterer, salt and minerals.
The farm offers easy access to the C&O towpath, miles of trails within the McKee-Besher Wildlife Management area, as well as many other wooded trails for hours of riding. We are currently building an new riding ring and have just finished a 40+ ft. diameter round pen.
Boarders are welcome to use the indoor riding arena at the neighboring horse facility at the "Polo Grounds".
