| | | | Hi, I have a 5 year old Dun quarter horse mare. she is 14.3 hands tall. She was broke to ride by a 12 year old. Missy is a very quiet easy keeper. Shes the first one to meet you in the pasture and will follow you around all day! Has been trail rode at brown county and numerous places. I believe she would make an awesome halter/ western pleasure if worked with. When my daughter was out for spring break in april she took her and rode her all week everyday for atleast 4 to 5 hours a day. Never spooked at anything. She clips, loades, and bathes. On a hot day she will stand in the pasture and let you spray her off. We got her as a 3 year old rescue horse and was going to break her to ride, get her fattened up and resell her but she ended up staying around for another 2 years because of her puppy dog attitude. She is also a very quick learner. Loves attention. She does have a scar on her right shoulder from an accident as a baby. She ran into a T post. It does not affect her now. She is completly sound! The reason for selling is because we have 6 horses and my daughter is getting into bigger competition in barrel racing and Missy is standing in the pasture not doing anything. So we feel best that she goes to a new home.
