I have a wonderful horse that needs a permanent loving home. Domino is about 14.1, with beautiful coloring, and a great personality. She is a very easy keeper, has great feet (she is kept barefoot, and does not need shoes), a good solid mind, and is healthy and sound. She is good on the trails, as well as riding around the pasture or down the road. She really enjoys kids, she's patient and gentle, and not spooky; I think she would make an amazing 4-H horse. She is a wonderful horse for an adult also, but for someone on the smaller side, as she is not very big.
Domino is approximately 18, and does the basics (ties, bathes, loads, hauls, tacks up, etc). Domino goes western and uses a hackamore; she direct reins and requires a light hand, and responds well to leg cues. I have used a basic snaffle on Domino, but she is sensitive to pressure, and does very well with a light hand under the hackamore. Domino has wonderful ground manners; she and I have built a great relationship based on a lot of ground work and 'natural horsemanship' methods. My niece (started riding Domino at age 10, she is now 12) rides Domino at the walk/trot/canter, both bareback and under saddle. My 4 year old rides Domino bareback and under saddle, on the lead line, at the walk and trot. My 4 year old can also lead Domino, completely unassisted, at the walk and trot, around the pasture/property.
The only reason Domino is up for sale, is because I am graduating college in two months, and I don't know what life holds for me after. I absolutely adore Domino, and this is really difficult for me, but I'll be pursuing graduate school within the next year or two, and I'll probably be moving around a lot; Domino deserves the best, and that's all I want for her. It would be much easier for me to tell you about Domino, either in person or over the phone, because I have a million things to say about her. Domino is NOT for free. However, I am not looking to profit off of her, I simply want to find her the best home possible.
