Ella is a 7 year old, 14.3, flea bitten grey Arabian mare who wants to do it all. I have taken her on trail in groups, and we have gone out alone a couple times in the woods. She is fine in in the woods and in traffic, we've even had buses pass us. She is a slow walker back to the barn. She will cross bridges and creeks. She is the perfect horse to do endurance rides! That was my goal when i got her.
She has gone over small jumps under saddle, about a 1 ft. She perks up a little when there is a jump in front of her, normally she has a very smooth and slow pace. She also has experience around cows, which she really seemed to enjoy doing. I am also a fan of natural horsemanship so I've done a lot of ground work and desensitizing with her. You can drape a tarp off of her, play soccer with a yogaball, grab poles off the wall, take your coat off on her. Most of this you can see in the video at [please contact me for website address] She W/T/C , leg yields, side passes, collects, backs with no rein pressure, turns on forehand/haunches. I ride her in a full cheek snaffle, but her previous owner rode her in a hackamore. I have ridden her bareback at a w/t/c after consistent riding. She has excellent feet and stands well for the farrier. She is UTD on all shots and worming. She is a very healthy horse, and is in great condition. She needs to work and I don't have time for her now because of school. I see an intermediate rider falling in love with her. She is very calm, but can spook every now and then.
