My husband works 13 hours most days and Rex does not listen to me. he is great with our 4 year old. He barks at strangers that come in the house but does calm down. Our problem issue is no matter what we do we can't keep him from escaping our yard. So it is very hard on me when I'm the one with him all day. And when he gets out on his own he wants to chase people and I'm afraid he is going to get hurt or there will be that someone who reports it or worse... He is great at knowing to go outside to the bathroom you just have to get use to his q's he gives. like going to the door but doesnt bark.. He loves going for walks and he is good on a harness and leash. He sleeps with my husband. We got him at 6 weeks old from a breeder in Indiana. And then we moved here to Florida.
