| | | | I have my own dressage tack and some training equitment, 16 yrs. experiece working and riding in barns. I know horse first aid and about grains, hays, de-worming, common diseases, disorders, vaccination procedures (I've seen it done and read about vaccinating but haven't given the shots myself), blanketing, turn out, lounging, symptoms of colic or fever/infections, recognizing lameness or stiff muscles in the back/neck. I also have done jumping up to 2'6, hunter paces, trail riding and I'm ready to show at first level and I have done 2nd/3rd level movements. I also know how to drive a schooling cart or road cart and can put the harness together/hook the cart up to the horse. Im a mature and very strong 26yr. old who is no stranger to hard work in extreme temperatures. I've done many schooling shows. I never learned to braid properly but only because I could never afford my own horse, so my instructors would braid their horse or insist I pay one of the girls to do it. I've done braids but it takes me forever to do one horse unless Im using rubber bands. I live in Voluntown, CT. The county is New London. Im near Falls Creek Farm and Escoheag Riding Park by RI.
