I'm ready to show at first level and have been riding for 16 years without my own horse. I have my own tack and training equitment. I know basic horse first aid, about grains, hays, symptoms of colic, common diseases and disorders. I know how to put standing wraps or polo wraps on, give wormers, longe, turn-out etc. The horse in the picture was someone's backyard green OTTB that had thrown off the owner and many other novice riders one too many times and was also starting to act sour in general on the ground when asked to do anything. So the owner contacted my instructor whom contacted me to ride the horse. This picture is at his first show in his entire life, a huge schooling show with 3 rings and stadium seating in the indoor. We did the first year green w/t/c on the flat division, and he hadn't been ridden by anyone since he was 8 and came off the track at age 6, spry as a 3yr. old. My eventing instructor who had been on him in the past was blown away when I told her that I took him to a show because he use to be a handful just to ride around the yard in a circle. I also have lots of experience working in hunter jumper barns and can give you 4 references. I'm currently riding at a dressage barn under an instructor who rides at intermediare level 1. I also know how to drive horses! I have driven schooling carts and road carts and carriages but most of my experience is with the 2 wheeled carts. I can put all the harness together and bring the horse out to you. Im in New London County, CT near Falls Creek Farm and Eschoheag Park in Voluntown, CT. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
