| | | My father and I are looking for a few (2-3) good Paso Fino geldings. Geldings should be between ages 4-10. They would be used for trail/mountain riding at our ranch in Colorado. They would summer at our ranch (May-September) and winter at a family friend's ranch at a lower altitude. Our current horses are all pretty much past the age of serious riding (25 yrs +). One gelding I would take to Albuquerque with me in the winter and keep here
(we would have him at a stable) so I could ride him throughout the year.
Having spirit is a good thing, but being crazed is not. Geldings must have solid constitution and good ground handling. Not interested in spooky or flighty horses. Trail experience is not a must, but a solid constitution is.
We care a great deal for our horses. Our ranch has been family owned since the 1950s.
One gelding should preferably be gentle enough for a novice rider or child. If this one is older than 10 it's ok but nothing older than 14. What we can offer per gelding depends, of course, on the amount of training/handling/experience each horse has had.
