Maverick is a big 16.3hh thoroughbred gelding with a puppy dog personality that comes to you in the pasture and follows you around. He is a big sweetheart and has great ground manners. He knows back up, come, and whoa commands on the ground by vocal commands. Maverick loves to jump and has free jumped up to 4 ft! Maverick has competed in many shows and excels in english pleasure as well as H/J, with a little tune up at the pivot, hed be perfect for showmanship. He has a great english trot, extends nicely and always picks up the correct canter leads. He has a very big comfortable flowing canter and collects nicely. He has been exposed to many things while Ive had him including: dogs, cats, cars, train tracks, bridges, guns, fireworks, creeks, baths, tie lines, giant soccer balls, camping, and shows. Maverick does well on a lunge line and can be bit-lunged. He would make a great horse for someone looking to do english pleasure or hunter/jumper and 4H or open shows! He needs a confident rider who will take the time to really build a relationship and bond with him and work together! He loads, ties, and stands well for the vet&farrier. He doesnt need shoes and is UTD on all shots and coggins, no health issues. I am sad to sell him, so a good home is a MUST. Asking $2,500 but negotiable to the right home.
