Two Tennessee Walkers for lease:
Vinni: 15.2 hand, Chestnut mare. She is looking for a intermediate skilled rider (or better) who enjoys quiet trail riding with mostly walking and some gaiting (no cantering). Vinni has been ridden on the streets and trails of Broward county for almost her entire 20 years and is nearly bombproof. Anyone can ride her but because you will be riding alone on the trails I require an experienced rider for her safety.
Gypsy: 14.2 hand, black mare. She is looking for an advanced rider who enjoys zipping around on the trails. She has a speedy walk and a very smooth flat walk and running walk. She has a tendency to spook occasionally at various objects out on the trails. Her rider must stay alert. She has only been in Florida for a year and each ride we go on she behaves better and better. She is really fun to ride if you can handle an occasional spook. She loves to zip around but will walk when you ask her to. She has never bucked or reared.
They are located at my private residence (near Flamingo and 595) on the Davie Trail System (Oak Hill park trail) within a close distance to Robbins, Long Key, and Vista View . They are available for trail riding only. You must be able to catch, groom, tack up, and ride alone. I have western saddles available for each horse. They do best when ridden with direct reins (two hands). You must be 18 years or older and under 160 lbs.
The monthly fee gets you 1 day of riding per week for the whole month. You come when you want for as long as you want on your chosen day after I have established that you can catch, tack up, and get out the gate correctly.
Weekend days: $150 per month per horse.
Week days: $100 per month per horse.
