The weather-resistant Varmint Light is designed with PIR ( Passive Infrared Detection Mode ) PIR sensors will sense motion of wildlife moving in or out of the sensors range. These sensors are often referred to as PIR, "Passive Infrared", "Pyroelectric", or "IR motion" sensors. The P.I.R. photocell activation unit also features 3 power settings (high, medium, and low). PIR mode detects motion within a 3 to 4-yard perimeter of the unit and stays on for 20 seconds or as long as motion is detected. |
