Putting up my two dwarf rabbits for adoption. I have had them for 4 months but I am now juggling my time as a full time student with a part time job and can no longer care for them properly. I would like both of them to go to good, loving homes where they get the proper attention they need. Please do your research on rabbit care before contacting me because rabbits are not suitable pets for beginners. They have voracious appetites and defecate almost as much as they eat. They need to be cleaned out more than once a week depending on their cage. They need a constant supply of timothy hay and water with sides of protein pellets and fruits/vegetables (research which fruits and vegetables to avoid). They are not to be picked up by the ears! If you are still interested and commited to being the owner of rabbits, then you will find that they can be loving companions and a great addition to the family.
Thumper (Brown female):
Thumper is a very active rabbit and needs plenty of mental stimulation to keep her from destroying or moving cage items. If no toys are provided she will throw around food dishes, chew on paper and dig into the bedding. Would be very fun if provided with toys to keep her occupied. Very tame and has been used to human contact since she was born. Will seek you out for food and likes to be pet. Does not like being picked up and will flail around but will settle down after you have her properly in your arms.
Trixy (White with caramel patches, female):
Trixy is more docile and peaceful than her sister. Loves attention and will seek you out for food. Very tame, likes to be pet and will not struggle if picked up correctly. She gives of a more adorable and loving vibe than her more independent sister but is more static.
I would prefer if both rabbits stay together since they have been so since they were born. There is a 10 dollar adoption fee for either both or individually. You must have proper housing and food available for them. Please research on proper rabbit care before buying.
