Once a staple on stateside consoles, Koei's long-running strategy series depicting the volatile Warring States Period in Japan returns to North American shores after more than a decade of Japan-only releases. In Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power players once again participate in a 16th century power-grab, playing as the visionary Nobunaga Oda or a rival warlord on a quest to unite the country under one rule. The game features seven detailed scenarios and more than 300 different starting points, and for the first time the traditionally turn-based series gives way to real-time battles from a 3D perspective.
