Wii-playing fans of the primetime hospital drama Grey's Anatomy can experience the heady days and nights at Seattle Grace, in the roles of their favorite characters. As in the breakaway hit television show, the play of the game is split between tense, skill-testing surgeries and passionate, precarious personal relationships. The game follows its own original story, written by the show's producers and writers, and players take a turn as each main character. Complex operations are performed in steps, using the Wii Remote to move a context-sensitive cursor and perform surgical tasks, similar to the precision-puzzle action of the Trauma Center games.
Outside of the operating room, by making key plot decisions and choosing the greetings and responses that the characters say to one another, players influence interpersonal relationships among the staff, and can determine the outcome of an emerging crisis. ~ T.J.
