Scottsdale, ARIZONA—Apollo Security Sales has released the latest update in their advanced APACS Access Control and Alarm Management Software. Apollo Security Sales’ new software release offers support for more readers, including the Suprema BioMini enrollment reader and the L-1 Bioscrypt 4G reader.
APACS 3.4 also includes support for Samsung, Bosch, and Panasonic video recorders. New features include the ability to add comments for message acknowledgments, make custom message columns for event display (in Alarm Mode), and use a new button to create temporary cards, as well as easily activate or deactivate permanent cards. Also included is support for images in Advanced Fields; users can also now drag and drop icons onto the APACS map.
APACS 3.4 represents the next step in security. With these and more features, Clifford Crane and Apollo Security Sales have improved upon their own excellent top-clearance security software. The software release will offer Apollo Security Sales clients a wider range of options and an attractive selection of new features, making the program even more easy to use and flexible.
Clifford Crane and Apollo Security Sales offer APACS, or Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System, in Lite, Standard, and Pro versions. APACS Lite is a basic reliable system, offering online event display, hardware-level alarm linkage, event sorting and retrieval, elevator control, and similar. APACS Standard provides all Lite functions, as well as incorporates graphic maps, alarm display, live video, badging, and a hardware status tree. APACS Pro is the ultimate in advanced security software. It allows all the operations of Lite and Standard, but also offers an in-depth catalogue of state-of-the-art features. With APACS Pro, any event can trigger a reaction, including time zone, card, or PIN reads. Reactions can include DVR/CCTV control, HVAC and lighting system control, audible alarms to the operator, the sending of alarm messages to pagers, roll call, and the activation of external systems.
By way of example, APACS Pro can be set up to automatically secure a building as the last person departs; in the morning, when the first person arrives, APACS can automatically turn on lights and air conditioning. Personnel can also key in a special PIN to alert guards to any emergency situations that may come about, entering it into the nearest reader’s keypad.
