Accepted by the American Kennel Club in 1973, this small powder puff is enjoying renewed popularity after a brief decline in the 1970’s. Distinguished by its double coat consisting of soft corkscrew curls, this pooch gives a fluffy appearance. The Bichon’s color is white; however markings of cream, buff or apricot are acceptable. Bichons excel as show dogs as their coats are exquisite and temperament is mannered.
