If you’ve just been proposed to and thinking of settling down, then congratulations! You must have then felt the novelty of the engagement, the happiness that left you giddy for a couple of days. Hmm … how to budget a wedding? You must have imagined how your wedding would be – a theme wedding, with the oohs and ahs of a gazillion guests all looking at the bride, the latter almost exuding an air of dignified royalty, with a train that seems to be longer than the Great Wall of China.
You may have also thought about the transportation you’ll be taking on the way to the reception – which could range from a simple bike to a car to an elephant (if you’re thinking of an Asian themed wedding), and all complete with the “Just Married” sign.
And you may also be very excited about the reception – the cake that seemed to rival the Eiffel Tower in height, the food that ranges from simple flambé to exotic looking dishes, the traditional throwing of the bouquet of flowers, and the well-wishers (friends, family and co-workers) giving speeches and advice to the newlyweds for a happier life of wedded bliss. Yes, you imagine all that pizzazz with a contented albeit smug smile on your face.
And then your real wedding budget comes along.
Then you think children’s party.
The reality is the average wedding budget of soon-to-be-wed couples particularly in the United States, amounts to $10,000 to $15,000. Unfortunately, most only garner a budget of around $5,000, sometimes even less. If you’re one of the many who cannot afford a “fairly decent” budget, then what’s a girl to do?
Going through wedding plans with a limited budget can often times be harassing – you think of ways to stretch your budget, spend sleepless nights thinking about what to do the following day that often, on the day of the wedding, the bride (who is supposed to be blushing) looks more like an anemic, ill little thing, with puffiness the main character of her eyes and a paleness that upon closer look translates to having dry skin.
The key to planning a successful wedding is good organization. Sometimes though, even the best organizer encounters some unavoidable trouble. Organizing a wedding is different – oftentimes, you would require tools, advice and suggestions that can help you.
This is where the book Wise Wedding Planning: Making the Perfect Theme Wedding Possible at Any Price comes in. It can help you in organizing and preparing wedding details, with particular tips and suggestions on themed weddings. Click Here to Visit wiseweddingplanning.com for more details.
