The Swiss Mountain Peaks package from Rail Europe is one way of seeing the country and experiencing the highest peaks it has to offer, complete with snow and breath taking panoramas.
The Swiss Mountain Peaks rail package includes four rail trips through the dramatic mountains with three nights in 3 star hotels to allow you to absorb everything you see throughout the day of travel. You start with the excellent views of the country from Schilthorn/Piz Gloria before traveling on to Mt. Titlis. This area of Switzerland is described as a kingdom of ice because it is built on a spectacular glacier. Depending on when you visit and use your Swiss Mountain Peaks pass will determine whether you arrive by train in the winter or boat in the summer. And in this package you will travel 15,000 feet above sea level and experience the Swiss Alps like never before.
You will received with your Swiss Mountain Peaks pass a Swiss Card that offers you second class train travel with four transfers, one night in Interlaken, one night in Engleberg, one night in Zurich, and excursions to Mt. Schilthorn and Mt. Titlis. All accommodations are at 3 star hotels and include breakfast. There is a first class rail and 4 star hotel packages available with additional hotel nights also available for an additional fee.
