You will be able to explore small lanes that lead to quaint villages with thatched cottages with your rental car while relaxing between large travel stretches on the train. The BritRail Pass & Drive offers you unlimited first or second class accommodations on the national train networks of England, Wales and Scotland. The pass includes the Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted Expresses as well as the Thames Link. The pass is good for 4, 8, or 15 days of train travel that do not have to be used consecutively but must be used within a two month period. Your rental car is for two days and you get the choice of manual or automatic transmission with your rental car.
