If you are looking for an affordable vacation to Great Britain and you don't mind traveling during the off season or low season as the locals call it then you should look into the BritRail Low Season Pass. This pass offers you train travel through the countries of Great Britain, namely England, Wales and Scotland, for a discount when your travel between November 1, 2009 through February 28, 2010. You will receive a 20% discount off the cost of the regular pass, a savings that you can spend visiting the many attractions you will find.
With the BritRail Low Season Pass you get unlimited first or second class travel on any of the national rail networks in Great Britain. This pass includes transportation from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports into London and Thames link trains. The pass comes in two varieties: consecutive travel and flexi pass. The consecutive travel pass comes in 3, 4, 8, 15, 22, or one month of consecutive train travel. The flexi pass comes in 3, 4, 8, or 15 days of consecutive or non-consecutive travel. The flexi pass is good for up to two months of travel.
