Do You Only Get Out of Bed in the Morning Because You Have to Go Pee?

Perhaps you've seen "The Secret" and took a whack at the law of attraction and you were excited. Now the excitement has passed and you think: there must be something more and you give up again. There has to be more in life to get you out of bed in the morning than the need to go pee.

Are You Depressed?

If the need to pee is the only thing getting you out of bed in the morning it sounds like you are depressed, that you've lost hope, and maybe you haven't given the law of attraction a fair chance.

If you are depressed, our society has a pat answer for you: "get counseling and take meds." For many, this is no answer at all. Even worse, for some it becomes a crutch and they start a life based around counseling and meds. But these options are both expensive and not guaranteed to work. When you go for either it's a big experiment. Your doctor may put you on drug after drug trying to find "the one" that will solve your problem. Counseling is the same way, every counselor has a different approach and bias and whether an approach will help you or not will take time to determine.

I don't mean to demean either of these approaches they have helped people, the problem is it is usually not quick, and it's never cheap even if you have insurance. If you are on a budget, out of work, or otherwise underfunded then you may not be able to access these approaches.

Often people find themselves depressed because they have lost hope of ever reaching their dreams, maybe they have buried their dreams so deep that they don't have a dream anymore. It is difficult to look forward in life without a dream. This may be due to a circumstance, or their own failure to follow through on dreams and ideas. Whatever the reason, you are the only person who can change things for you.

Has Fear Cost You Your Dreams?

Many put off or avoid going after their dreams because they are afraid. In the words of that great motivator Les Brown:

Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.

Fear is the biggest dream and happiness destroyer on the planet. The way to get past fear is to just do whatever it is that you fear anyway.

Find Out If The Law Of Attraction Could Be Your Answer

Get a vision of that thing, just like "The Secret" said. Having the vision and holding it in mind and believing it is the first step in the law of attraction. Being depressed at this point is a challenge because you need to feel the reality of the vision and you need to believe that it is at least possible and be grateful that you have achieved it. As Wayne Dyer and so many others have said:

You'll see it when you believe it.

Now maybe, just maybe, if your dream is big enough and you can step into it then your depression will pull back. Because a vision always causes your mind to spin off ideas for acquiring the object of the vision. Your mind will do this unless you shoot down those ideas with the negativity - shoot down the ideas that will bring the vision into reality with the ideas that spin out of depression. So have hope and believe, and take action on those ideas.

Keep doing the vision exercise morning at night and believe that it will work - because it will. It will bring you ideas to take action on.

Hope and belief, your vision, your dreams visited daily in your mind, visited in a positive, grateful spirit is what the law of attraction is all about.
