I liked the effect of the arches but didn't want to use up ¼ of my Light-O-Rama (LOR) computing power to control my 8 arches. The arch controller will turn on and off an arch constructed of 8 sections of up to 100 light sets. In stand-alone mode the lights will move across the arch one section at a time moving right to left and then repeating. The controller will also operate small displays like small stars or Christmas trees, ect The controller can also be connected to one output channel of a Light-O-Rama (LOR) (or like controller) and have some of the same lighting effects that would require 8 channels of a LOR to achieve. The effects can be controlled by programming the LOR for fading brightness up or down, twinkle, and shimmer. This will turn on a segment at random, moving from right to left, or use the on program command from the LOR which will turn on the arch segments from right to left as if in the stand-alone mode. This saves output channels that can be used for other lighting displays. The Arch Controller will not turn on the segments and sequence back and forth
