we are currently taking reservations for the next session of our 3 day hands on equine massage therapy course. classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students and they fill up quick! the next scheduled course is martin luther king weekend in february, saturday, sunday, and monday.
the 2009 price was $150 per day and this will be going up a bit for 2010 however for anyone that reserves a spot with a deposit in 2009 we will honor the 2009 price for the 2010 classes. we also offer gift certificates if you would like to give someone the class as a gift! we accept checks, money orders, or paypal for credit and debit cards.
its amazing how much a horse with epm, coldback, swayback, arthritis, etc. can be helped with these therapies without drugs!
*3 DAY TOTAL HANDS ON MASSAGE THERAPY CLASS (24hrs Hands On Time) *
Day 1-learn the first half of the massage sequence-learn where to work/where not to work/the massage strokes
Day 2-learn the second half of the massage sequence-learn how to find spasms and soreness and how to work it out
Day 3-learn how to evaluate a horse-and learn to put both day 1 and day 2 together to do a full body massage
My 3 Day Total Hands On Class is a great class that gives you the basic fundamentals for learning massage therapy for the equine, it gives you the tools needed to go home and practice on your own horse, building your skills from there. My class is a 24hr+ class depending on how much time the students need to learn. Other schools, that are longer (5days plus), do NOT have the amount of hands on time that my 3 Day Class does. You cannot learn massage sitting in a class, you must be working on the body of the horse! My class is guaranteed...and if you need a refresher course-it is FREE.
One more thing other schools don't offer. Once you go home and put these practices to work, you will see how easy it is to work from the 'cheat sheet' I give you. Once you start working in the field, I am there for you, just a phone call away if you have questions about any of your clients. I am still active in the field, having my own clients to work on.
