IRELAND, Philip & Mary 1557 Irish Silver Groat, high grade: on a full flan, with unusually complete detail for this carelessly-made issue, the portraits especially. One short striking crack, but this is not 'open' and appears to be on the surfaces only! Note the strange obverse T of ET: its foot curves left, as on a J, and it has a vertical stroke to its right, shaped like a 1 .... Seaby Irish 6501, mm Rose.
