In MS-65 RD, this low population date is rarer than the famous 1877! In fact, in MS-65 Red, these will sell for $25,000 or more, making this MS-65 RB with 70% of its original red color remaining excellent value. Like many scarce or rare date copper cents, the more red the RBs have, the more valuable they are. In this grade and in RB color, this is the scarcest and most valuable of the Indian Head cents except for the 1877.
