Most people don't know what a source of stress and anguish excessive armpit sweating
can be. It's assumed that a person who has sweaty armpits is dirty and
unshowered or is going to have body odor. It's kind of strange trying
to assure family, friends, and coworkers that you have showered and put
on deodorant, but you have a disorder that causes you to sweat too much
from your armpits. Indeed, I'd never heard of anything like an underarm
sweat disorder before I started suffering from it myself more than a
decade ago.
It eventually became such an embarrassing problem that I started
avoiding social gatherings and public events altogether. And this isn't
even mentioning the enormous cost in dry cleaning bills and ruined
shirts that I incurred courtesy of my excessive armpit sweating problem.
I was eventually referred by my doctor to a dermatologist and was
prescribed a medication that remedied the problem somewhat. But after a
period of about three months the perspiration returned in full force. I
went through a similar experience with no less than seven different
treatments. I came to accept the possibility that I would never find
how to stop this problem and that excessive armpit sweating would be
something I always have to live with.
Well I'm very glad I didn't give up completely because I eventually came upon a program which has put an end to my excessive armpit sweating for the last nine months!
